Labubu Charm

Labubu is a character created by Hong Kong-born artist Kasing Lung, introduced in 2015. Labubu is part of "The Monsters" series, which draws inspiration from Nordic folklore and mythology. The character features a playful yet slightly fierce design, characterized by a round, furry body, wide eyes, pointed ears, and sharp teeth that form a mischievous smile.

The trend gained significant momentum in April 2024 when BLACKPINK's Lisa was spotted with Labubu items, both as plush toys and as keychains on her bag. This sighting sparked a trend that quickly contributed to Labubu's growing recognition in Thailand and other parts of Southeast and East Asia.
